Community Support Helpline
Dear Residents
A quick reminder that the Council has set up a Community Support Helpline for our residents who are currently shielding as a result of the Covid19 outbreak. This is available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Our team can provide advice and support for you during this challenging time, so please get in touch if you are struggling to get food supplies, or advice on getting prescriptions picked up, for example. We are working with a range of organisations across the borough and we’re all here to help you. The Community Support Helpline number is 01892 554497
I would also like to draw your attention to a new website that has been specially created to help people feel connected to their community during this time of being asked to stay at home. The website can be found at www.twsocial.co.uk and it contains free entertainment for all ages, as well as practical tips and activities for how to keep physically and mentally active, plus helpful information on where to get more support if you are feeling anxious or lonely. We hope you might find this a useful resource.
Further advice and information about the current situation can be found on the Council’s website at www.tunbridgewells.gov.uk/coronavirus-updates/advice-and-support-for-residents
NB – if you are in urgent need of food supplies, or any other support, please call the helpline immediately.
