Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom and Hospice in the Weald – Open Gardens 2017

Hospice in the Weald provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, their families and carers in West Kent and Northern East Sussex.
Would you like to help promote Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom and support the Hospice in the Weald at the same time?
Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom have recently teamed up with Hospice in the Weald to help them launch their Open Gardens scheme in Tunbridge Wells town.
To participate in the Open Gardens scheme all you need to do is open your garden to visitors for one afternoon in June for 3-4 hours (the date is yet to be confirmed). You will be supported on the day by Hospice in the Weald and/or a member of the Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom team who will be there to run the entrance and additional ticket sales (most sales will be in advance) or the support team may hold a plant sale or raffle all of which is to raise further funds for Hospice in the Weald.
That’s it. It’s that easy!
Most visitors will have purchased a ticket to visit in advance so you will be given a rough idea how many visitors to expect on the day.
Open Gardens raised over £30,000 last year which goes towards the £7million needed annually to Hospice in the Weald to maintain its vital services to our community. 90p of every £1 raised goes directly to patient care.
If you are keen to show off your garden and raise money for Hospice in the Weald, please contact the Bloom Team on 01892 554031 or email Helen Timms. Please help Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom support this very worthy cause.
