Introducing KCS Connect – Education Resources during lock down
A message from KCS.
I wanted to reach out to you with a message that you can share with the members of your constituency during these difficult times. For many years as you know we have been supplying schools across Kent and wider’ with resources and supplies to support children in their learning. With schools closing for the main body of pupils we have adapted our service offering to help parents keep their children engaged and learning at home where possible. With a huge message across social media, to schools directly to inform their parents, teachers and staff alike I wanted to share the same information with you so we can inform everybody of what we have on offer.
Introducing www.kcsconnect.co.uk – Now our resources for learning and entertainment are available to anyone to support during these difficult times. Our range of products can be ordered via a ‘basket’ on the kcsconnect website and we can arrange for the items to be delivered direct to their door.
In addition to www.kcsconnect.co.uk, we also have lots of curriculum resources on our main KCS webpage, www.kcs.co.uk that will help parents and carers to plan activities and engage children.
Finally my colleague Jade from our marketing team has been busy designing lots of inclusive pages with our Facebook page. Anyone can connect to our page and get involved.
There is a big focus on supporting parents with home learning through www.kcsconnect.co.uk, helping them to:
1) EDUCATE their children at home
2) ENTERTAIN their children at home
Whilst also offering our wider range of health and hygiene products, and we’re also looking to offer support with live classes and workshops.
Watch this space as we finalise a series of FREE live broadcasts featuring a range of people across a range of subjects especially for children. More to follow.
We have also launched today a FREE Facebook Group called Inspiring Young Minds which is a place for parents, carers and teachers to share activities ideas, photos and inspiration for home schooling. Please feel free to join the community and contribute posts to tell and show us what your little ones have been up to at home!
On behalf of KCS, please stay safe and share with the wonderful communities across Kent so we are able to support each other.
